OUR MISSION
Peace music at the service of God and human beings.
THE CHALLENGE
Religious leaders and the local political leaders have used a variety of peacemaking and peacebuilding mechanisms such as conventional dialogue, signing of peace declarations, sermons, yet, conflicts and distrusts are persisting in the region of Africa. Africa Sings observes that the most powerful unifying factor in West Africa is music. Music has played a paramount role in promoting peaceful co-existence in traditional African society. However, West African Christians have not yet used this means adequately in order to foster peace and Christian witness. If the church does not redeem the African music for Kingdom building, Satan would certainly employ it to tear down the Body of Christ in Africa. Thus, engaging music, especially the African indigenous music will enable Africa Sings to create concrete and far-reaching results that will lead to immense transformation lives.
